“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” – be humble.
“Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.” – Tell yourself the truth. Accept your faults. Have people’s interest at heart. Love your neighbour as you love yourself.
“Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.” – be modest.
“Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.” – be of virtues.
“Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.” – have a forgiven heart
“Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.” – bear no evil or grudges at heart. Don’t be selfish. Have a good heart and be kind.
“Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.” – be an ambassador of peace.
“Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” – have a rejoicing heart ever. Never stop doing that which is good no matter the persecution.
